The small town of Lehr straddles the boundary between Logan and McIntosh counties in this early 1980s topographic study. The landscape is defined by the prairie pothole region's unique geography, heavily concentrated with managed wetlands and wildlife conservation zones. Extensive tracts of the National Waterfowl Production Area and the Lehr State Game Management Area dominate the eastern and southern portions of the quadrangle. These protected lands surround numerous natural water bodies like Mud Lake and various unnamed prairie basins. Local infrastructure is sparse outside the settlement center, though the map details significant community points including the City Cem and a Church Camp located just east of the main town site, alongside several Gravel Pits used for local road maintenance.
