Green Bay and the vast waters of Lake Michigan dominate this coastal survey of Door County, where a sharp diagonal boundary separates the waters of the bay from Marinette County. The shoreline is defined by a series of residential and rural roads that follow the contours of the peninsula, including White Star Rd and Lovers Ln. Landward, the terrain is shaped by the drainage of Sugar Cr, which flows toward the bay through a landscape marked by agricultural grid lines and small wooded patches.
