Tiger Ridge dominates the southern landscape of this Hill and Blaine County borderland, where the terrain is defined by a series of dramatic coulees and creek drainages. The north-flowing Clear Cr serves as a central artery through the area, joined by the headwaters of Little Boxelder Cr and Three Mile Cr. This topography, characteristic of the northern Montana plains, shows a pattern of high ridges and deep erosion channels that historically dictated the placement of ranch access roads such as Clear Creek Rd and Staff Rd.
