Boscobel occupies the northern edge of this landscape where Crooked Cr and Sanders Cr drain toward the river. The terrain is defined by a dense network of coulees and hollows, including Dry Hollow, Munn Hollow, and Butternut Hollow, which separate high ground like Pine Knob and Adkins Ridge. This 2016 survey illustrates a deeply rural part of the Driftless Area, where small cemeteries such as Brechler Cem, Crown Hill Cem, and Bethel Cem are scattered across the ridges. The southern portion of the sheet is dominated by the Spring Valley and the Big Green River, showing how the local road network, including Hickory Hill Rd and Wisconsin Valley Rd, follows the winding topography of the valleys.
