Lukeville sits at the southern edge of this desert landscape, serving as a primary point of entry along the international border with Mexico. This remote borderland is largely defined by the vast Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, which encompasses much of the territory shown. The terrain transitions from the alluvial expanses of the La Abra Plain and Sonoyta Valley into the sharp rises of the Puerto Blanco Mountains and the Sonoyta Mountains.
