Morris Meadows sits in the southern reach of this high-elevation landscape, where the border of Crook and Harney Counties bisects a terrain of prominent ridges and drainages. The southeastern portion is dominated by the Ochoco National Forest, characterized by numerous small reservoirs and spring-fed creeks. A network of Forest Service roads, including National Forest Development Road 4520 and Nicoll Ridge Road, provides access to these isolated water sources like Rough Cr Reservoir and O'Keefe Reservoir.
