Massacre Point and the high elevations of the Chuska Mountains define this high-desert landscape in northeastern Arizona. The terrain is characterized by a series of prominent mesas and deep drainages, most notably the namesake Mexican Cry Mesa and Red Mesa. To the east, the Lukachukai Mountains rise sharply, while the western reaches include landmarks like Rock Pointing West and Two Red Rocks.
