Monument Peak and Mt Vesuvius dominate the northern terrain of this high-elevation landscape within the Lewis & Clark National Forest. The topography is defined by a series of prominent summits and ridges, including Woods Mtn, Reynolds Mtn, and the sprawling Rimrock Ridge. Water drainage is primarily shaped by the Tenderfoot Cr system, with numerous tributaries such as Packsaddle Cr and Fisher Cr carving through the steep slopes.
