Comanche National Grassland dominates this high plains landscape in southern Colorado, where the terrain is defined by a series of south-reaching drainages. This 2013 survey records the relief of the region through several named geographic depressions, including Moore Draw, Mitchell Draw, Murray Draw, and Burrows Draw. These seasonal watercourses carve through the landscape, providing the primary topographies for an otherwise level section of the county.
