The area is defined by a series of prominent peaks and ridgelines in the north, including Mt. Chase, Bald Mtn, and Long Mtn, which overlook a network of drainage systems like Sargent Brook and Houston Brook. Local history is visible through the placement of established burial grounds such as Patten Cem, Hersey Cem, and Crystal Cem, which are scattered along the secondary road network.
