This 1997 survey provides a detailed look at the peak's glacial system, including the Whitewater Glacier, Jefferson Park Glacier, and Waldo Glacier. The Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail traverses the western slopes, passing through the Mount Jefferson Wilderness and providing access to high-alpine destinations like Jefferson Park and Pamelia Lake.
