Mount Jerusalem stands as the central topographic feature of this high-elevation landscape within the Bitterroot National Forest, straddling the boundary between Montana and Idaho. The 2017 survey details a primitive wilderness environment characterized by a dense concentration of glacial cirque lakes and high peaks. Along the eastern edge, a chain of water bodies including Boulder Lake, Dollar Lake, Lake Crystal, and Lake Turbid drain toward Boulder Cr. To the west, the terrain drops from the heights of Bare Peak toward the headwaters of Watchtower Cr and Little W Fork. The lack of structural development, save for the Nez Perce Rd in the southern reaches, underscores the preserved nature of the Idaho-Montana state line as it follows the continental divide. This map serves as a primary reference for the intricate drainage systems of Sentimental Cr and N Fork Sheephead Cr.
