Mt Stuart and the high peaks of the Stuart Range dominate this high-elevation corner of the Wenatchee National Forest. This modern record of the central Cascades shows a landscape defined by glacial activity and remote water bodies, including Stuart Glacier, Ice Cliff Glacier, and Sherpa Glacier. The complex network of alpine trails, such as the Ingalls Creek Trl and Longs Pass Trl, illustrates how these jagged ridgelines are navigated between the Alpine Lakes Wilderness and the southern slopes.
