About this map

The Naches River corridor defines this portion of Yakima County, where the settlement of Nile sits at the confluence of Nile Cr. The landscape is dominated by the steep rises of Cleman Mtn and Bethel Ridge, punctuated by numerous drainage canyons such as Logger Canyon and Carmack Canyon. Much of the western and northern terrain falls within the Snoqualmie National Forest, a region characterized by complex topography including Cowpuncher Ridge and the prominent Eagle Rock overlooking the river valley.
