Nimmo Ranch and other prominent homesteads define the high-plains landscape of Laramie County on this survey, based on 1961 imagery with updates through the early 1990s. The region’s agricultural heritage is etched into the terrain via an extensive network of water management features, including Adamson Ditch No 1 and the Snow Cattle Co Ditch No 4. These ditches divert water from Horse Creek and Little Bear Creek to support ranching operations across the undulating prairies.
