Odell Butte dominates the western topography of this section of the Deschutes National Forest, rising above the volcanic landscape of the Cascade Range. The terrain is defined by a series of prominent volcanic features including Black Rock Butte to the north and Bunny Butte to the south. The hydrological network is led by the Little Deschutes River, which meanders through the eastern portion of the quadrangle, joined by Crescent Cr and Little Odell Cr.
