Cape Alava and Sand Point define the westernmost reaches of the contiguous United States, anchored by the settlement of Ozette. This coastal landscape is a mosaic of open meadows like Rooses Prairie, Ahlstroms Prairie, and Mannys Prairie, which provide a distinct break from the dense evergreen forest of Olympic National Park. The shoreline is marked by prominent sea stacks and rocky outcrops, including the Point of Arches, Father and Son, and White Rock.
