The southern outskirts of Globe and the high elevations of the Pinal Mountains dominate this 2021 study of the Gila County landscape. Established within the Tonto National Forest, the map captures a network of specialized trails and forest roads, including the Ice House Canyon Rd and the S Kellner Canyon Rd, which provide access to the summit at Pinal Peak. The terrain is deeply incised by drainages such as Six Shooter Canyon and Echo Canyon, while human activity is evidenced by the Gila Community College Gila Pueblo Campus and numerous named water tanks like Pueblo Tank and Schoolhouse Tank.
