Threemile Table and the elevated terrain of Glendive Butte overlook a landscape carved by numerous seasonal drainages in this Dawson County region. The terrain is defined by a network of coulees and creeks, including Cherry Coulee, D Bar Coulee, and Deer Cr, which channel water through the high plains toward the lower flats. The southern portion of the map transition into the level expanse of Poverty Flat, where the Dawson Community Airport serves as a primary regional landmark.
