Pulaski and Parish center this agricultural landscape in Candler County, where the topography is defined by the winding course of Lotts Creek and its many tributaries. The area is crisscrossed by a network of rural routes, including Metter Rd and Portal Metter Hwy, which connect family settlements and small farmsteads. Local history is preserved in several small burial grounds scattered throughout the quadrangle, such as the Hendrix and Welsh Cemetery in the north and Noahs Ark Cemetery to the east.
