1994 Map of Randle

USGS Topo · Published 1996

About this map

The Big Cowlitz River meanders across the southern half of this mid-1990s survey, defining the valley floor near the settlement of Randle. The landscape is a study in the interface between rural development and the massive wilderness of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. While the northern reaches are dominated by steep terrain such as Watch Mountain and Kehoe Mtn, the river bottom supports local infrastructure including the White Pass High Sch, a Golf Course, and the Silver Brook community.
