Lake Redstone dominates the northwestern landscape of this Sauk County region, its jagged shoreline branching into numerous coves and residential drives like E Redstone Dr and W Redstone Dr. The winding Baraboo River flows southeast through the heart of the terrain, passing the small settlement of La Valle and cutting through a wide valley of wetlands and agricultural tracts. This corridor connects the rural western reaches to the established city of Reedsburg in the east, where the street grid organizes around the riverbanks.
