Reyes Peak and the high ridges of Pine Mtn anchor this topographic study of the Los Padres National Forest in Ventura County. The landscape is defined by a dense network of drainages and seasonal water sources, including Chorro Spring, McGuire Spring, and Raspberry Spring. These springs provided vital points of habitation and travel through a terrain carved by numerous corridors such as Chorro Grande Canyon and Wagon Road Canyon.
