Belt Creek winds through the heart of this central Montana landscape, cutting through the distinctive geological formations of the Little Belt Mountains. The small community of Riceville serves as the primary settlement hub, situated at the junction of Riceville Ln and N Bear Coulee Rd. Much of the southern and western terrain is protected within the Lewis & Clark National Forest, where the topography rises sharply toward prominent landmarks like Crown Butte and Dicks Gulch.
