Sacagawea Peak dominates this high-elevation portion of the Bridger Range, where the crest of the mountains defines the western boundary of the Bozeman Ranger District. The terrain is characterized by steep alpine basins and high peaks, including Naya Nuki Peak and Hardscrabble Peak. A cluster of small mountain lakes—Fairy Lake, Anger Lake, Frazier Lake, and Elf Lake—sit nestled below the eastern face of the range, feeding the headwaters of the South Fork Frazier Creek.
