Santa Ana Pueblo sits at the western edge of this Sandoval County landscape, where the Jemez River flows toward its confluence with the Rio Grande. The dominant topographic feature is the massive Santa Ana Mesa, which rises sharply to the north and east of the pueblo. The central portion of the map is defined by the Jemez Canyon Reservoir, a significant water body formed behind the dam near James Dam Rd.
