Seely sits at a crossroads of high plains and canyon country in Crook County, where Highway 112 meets the Hulett-Alzada Hwy. The landscape is defined by the drainage systems of the Belle Fourche River to the southeast and numerous creeks including Medicine Cr and Bronco John Cr. These waterways carve through complex terrain, creating landmarks such as Government Canyon and Steam Engine Canyon.
