Lake Minnequa and its surrounding residential streets anchor the southwestern edge of Pueblo, where industrial water management defines the semi-arid landscape. The southern portion of this 2019 survey is dominated by a complex network of irrigation and flood control, including the Minnequa Canal, Tucker Ditch, and the Saint Charles Flood Ditch. These man-made channels support agricultural tracts like Simonson Field and manage the flow toward Saint Charles Reservoir Number 2 and Saint Charles Reservoir Number 3.
