Dixie National Forest dominates this section of southern Utah, where the Harmony Mountains meet the northern reaches of the Pine Valley Mountains. The terrain is defined by a series of significant peaks and high-elevation basins, including Stoddard Mountain, Iron Mtn, and Duncan Mtn. Water sources are scattered throughout this arid landscape, from Crystal Springs in the north to the isolated Bumblebee Lake and Dry Lake.
