The Anaconda Pintler Wilderness dominates this high-altitude landscape along the border of Granite and Deer Lodge counties. The terrain is defined by the sharp peaks of the Anaconda Range, including Rainbow Mtn and Fish Peak, which overlook a series of alpine basins and glacially formed lakes. Notable among these are Lion Lake, Flower Lake, and the large Storm Lake situated near Mt Tiny. The Continental Divide National Scenic Trl traverses the southern portion of the map, tracing the hydrologic divide between the Beaverhead National Forest and the Deerlodge National Forest. This section of the divide is marked by high-elevation features such as Storm Lake Pass and Goat Flat, offering a clear view of the drainage patterns of the East Fork Rock Creek and Seymour Creek systems.
