Tallon Spring and Deadmans Spring anchor this high-elevation landscape in the Bighorn Mountains region of Wyoming. The terrain is defined by a complex drainage network feeding into the Otter Creek system, including the N Fork Otter Cr, Middle Fork Otter Cr, and Dry Fork Otter Cr. These seasonal and perennial water sources carve through the geological formations of Box Canyon and the prominent ridges known as The Vees.
