Zion National Park encompasses much of this landscape, dominated by the towering formations of North Guardian Angel and South Guardian Angel. The geography is defined by high tablelands like the Horse Pasture Plateau and the Upper Kolob Plateau, where deep drainages like the Great West Fork and Wildcat Canyon Creek have carved into the sandstone.
