Tyee Mtn and the long spine of Tyee Ridge dominate this interior section of the Wenatchee National Forest. The landscape is defined by the sharp descent of numerous seasonal and perennial creeks, including Dill Cr, Stormy Cr, and Potato Cr, which feed the prominent Entiat River as it flows south through the eastern half of the quadrangle. To the southwest, the Lower Mad River carves a deep path beneath Hornet Ridge and Gold Ridge.
