Upper Centennial Flat and the surrounding peaks of the Coso Range dominate this high-desert landscape in Inyo County. The survey records a network of arid basins and thermal geography, including the Upper Centennial Spring and Upper Haiwee Spring, which have historically served as critical water sources in the eastern Sierra region. The terrain is defined by dramatic elevation changes, rising from the Mojave Desert floor toward prominent summits like Silver Mtn, Iron Hill, and Pinon Peak.
