2023 Map of Wahatis Peak

USGS Topo · Published 2023

About this map

Wahatis Peak serves as the prominent high point of the Saddle Mountains in this central Washington landscape. The terrain is defined by a series of dramatic geographic benches and coulees, including Smyrna Bench and Red Rock Coulee, which descend toward the Lower Crab Creek valley. Much of the northern portion of the quadrangle is managed as part of the Columbia National Wildlife Refuge, featuring distinctive hydrology such as Red Rock Lake and the Natural Corral.
