1998 Map of Watchtower Peak

USGS Topo · Published 2002

About this map

Watchtower Peak and Indian Hill stand as prominent sentinels along the high ridgelines that define the border between Idaho and Montana. This late twentieth-century Forest Service revision documents a landscape almost entirely comprised of the Bitterroot National Forest and the Selway Bitterroot Wilderness. The drainage patterns are meticulously recorded, showing the headwaters of numerous streams including Bitterroot Creek, Peach Creek, and Cooper Creek as they descend from points like Cooper Point.
