The Payette National Forest dominates this Idaho landscape, where high-elevation headwaters and deep gulches define the terrain. The eastern edge of the quadrangle is marked by the W Fork Weiser River, which collects runoff from a complex network of seasonal creeks including Fourth of July Cr and Rock Cr. A series of natural springs, such as Chipmunk Spring, Willow Spring, and Harrington Spring, highlight the hydrologic importance of these slopes.
