1998 Map of White Pass

USGS Topo · Published 2003

About this map

White Pass serves as a critical high-altitude corridor along the crest of the Cascade Range, where the boundaries of Lewis and Yakima counties meet. This late-twentieth-century landscape is defined by the convergence of several major protected areas, including the William O Douglas Wilderness, the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and the Goat Rocks Wilderness. The Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail traverses the eastern half of the sheet, connecting recreational waypoints such as Leech Lake and the Mt Rainier-Goat Rocks Observation Site.
