Wild Horse Island dominates the northern reaches of this Lake County landscape, its steep topography rising abruptly from the waters of Flathead Lake. The 2017 survey reveals a complex shoreline defined by significant residential and recreational development along the mainland, particularly around the settlements of Lindisfarne and Kings Point. To the south and east, the coast is intricately carved into a series of inlets, including White Swan Bay, Indian Bay, and the aptly named Safety Bay.
