Wimer and the rural communities of Pleasant Valley and Evans Valley define the inhabited sections of this southern Oregon landscape, situated along the county line between Josephine Co and Jackson Co. The geography is shaped by a dense network of gulches and creeks, including the drainage basins of Evans Creek and Jumpoff Joe Creek. Local aviation and infrastructure are represented by Springbrook Airport and several engineered water features such as Badcock Reservoir, Zwan Reservoir, and Standard Basin Reservoir.
