The Zebulon and Wendell corridors of eastern Wake County are defined by a network of suburban expansion and long-standing rural landmarks. The Little River and its various tributaries, such as Moccasin Creek and Beaverdam Creek, are dotted with numerous engineered water bodies, including Bunn Lake and Privette Lake Number One. These impoundments reflect the transition of the landscape from agricultural use to residential developments like Rivercrest, Angelview, and Cobblestone.
