Angel Fire sits at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, where high-altitude alpine basins meet the headwaters of the Coyote Creek system. The landscape is defined by massive ridges and peaks, most notably Agua Fria Peak and the surrounding summits of Angel Fire Peak and Aspen Hill. A dense network of residential and resort roads, such as El Camino Real and Enchanted Way, weaves through the slopes of the northern sections, reflecting the area's development into a major mountain destination.
