About this map

The Caddo River flows through this corner of the Ouachita foothills, where the settlements of Amity and Glenwood serve as local hubs near the borders of Clark, Pike, and Montgomery Counties. The landscape is defined by the transition from the southern reaches of the Ouachita National Forest to the managed waters of Kirksey Reservoir. High ground is marked by prominent peaks such as Sugarloaf Knob, Trap Mountain, and Pigeon Roost Mountain, which stand above a network of smaller drainages including Sugarloaf Creek and Little Antoine Creek.
