Ampersand Lake and the surrounding drainage of Ampersand Brook form the heart of this high-altitude landscape. The terrain is defined by the massive crests of the Seward Mountains and the Sawtooth Mountains, including prominent peaks such as Donaldson Mtn, Mt Emmons, and Seymour Mtn. At the center, Ampersand Mtn rises above a cluster of secluded water bodies, including White Lily Pond and Blueberry Pond.
