Aspen Grove serves as a hub for recreation and mountain camps in this high-elevation landscape. The terrain is defined by dramatic glacial cirques such as Big Provo Cirque, Cascade Cirque, and Primrose Cirque, which feed the many creeks and springs throughout the quadrangle. The North Fork Provo River and its various tributaries, including South Fork Deer Creek and Red Pine Creek, dictate the geography of the canyons.
