The Omaha Indian Reservation encompasses much of this Cuming County landscape, where the agricultural grid is defined by the winding paths of native waterways and modern diversions. The settlement of Bancroft serves as a local hub near the southern border, featuring the Bancroft Post Office and the Bancroft Park Campground. Further north, the village of Rosalie is marked by its own Rosalie Post Office, situated among the section lines of the reservation.
