Bartlett sits at the base of the eastern Sierra Nevada, where the high desert meets the shores of Owens Lake. This 2015 survey reveals a landscape defined by dramatic elevation changes and essential water infrastructure, most notably the Los Angeles Aqueduct as it skirts the mountain range. Much of the western terrain is protected within the Inyo National Forest, home to prominent summits like Wonoiga Peak, Timosea Peak, and Muah Mtn.
