The ridge-and-valley landscape of southern Bedford County is defined here by parallel formations including Evitts Mountain, Tussey Mountain, and Warrior Ridge. Farther south, the small hamlet of Hewitt is notable for its landmark Covered Bridge crossing Town Creek.
