The northern valley centers on Beaver Springs and Beavertown, where Beaver Creek flows through a landscape marked by industrial history at Ore Ridge and Firestone Ridge. To the south, the terrain fragments into a series of smaller, family-named valleys like Leister Valley and Dunn Valley, following the paths of Cocolamus Creek and the West Branch Mahantango Creek.
