Little Horse Basin Gap and Big Horse Basin Gap form a distinct high-desert corridor through the Owyhee landscape. This high-altitude terrain is defined by deep drainage systems, most notably the steep-walled canyons carved by Big Jacks Cr and Little Jacks Cr. The network of watercourses, including Rattlesnake Cr, highlights the erosional patterns of the drainage basins.
